Questions.
Will the text come from my business number?
Yes in most cases. If your number is on a phone system we can connect to, such as RingCentral or Quo, we build on it. A landline can usually keep its current carrier and have texting added to the same number. Google Voice doesn't allow automated texts, so a Google Voice number would need to move.
Do I need to register for business texting?
Yes. US carriers require business numbers that send texts through software to be registered, which is called A2P 10DLC. We handle the registration as part of the setup.
What does the text say?
Whatever fits your business. It can change by time of day, such as an after-hours version with your booking link. Every text includes a way to opt out, and replies of STOP are honored.
Doesn't my phone system already do this?
Many business phone systems can send one automatic reply. We build what happens after it, with answers from your information, booking on Google Calendar or Outlook, and a handoff to you. Each conversation can also be logged in a CRM such as HubSpot.
