Website chat assistant

A website chat we build to answer visitors from the information you approve, ask your qualifying questions, then book a time or take the request.

Free process analysis, with your solution design within 2 business days.

From a visitor's question to a booked lead.

  1. 1

A visitor asks in the chat on your website.

The chat opens by saying it's your business's AI assistant, with a Talk to a person button that stays in the header. Visitors can ask at any hour, and each conversation shows up in your list.

  2. 2

It answers from your own information.

It's built to answer only from the pages, price lists and policies you approve. Under each answer you see the passages it used, so you can check it.

  3. 3

It asks your questions, one at a time.

It's set up to ask what you'd ask, one question at a time, and each answer is saved on the lead.

  4. 4

It offers times that fit, then books one.

It's set up to offer only open times that fit your booking rules. The visitor picks one and adds an email for the confirmation. Jobs that need a quote first become a request instead.

  5. 5

The lead lands in your CRM, and a person gets the rest.

The lead arrives with its answers, the booked time and a link to the conversation, where your CRM lets outside apps add leads. A question it can't find a source for goes to you or the person you pick as an alert, and they follow up by phone or email.

What changes for you.

  • Visitors can ask at any hour.

It's built to answer questions about your services, prices, area and hours only from the information you approve.

  • Interested visitors can book from the chat.

After answering, it's set up to ask your questions and offer open times that fit your booking rules.

  • Leads arrive with their answers.

Service, area, timing and a link to the conversation land in your CRM where it lets outside apps add leads, or in a simple list we set up.

  • You see what visitors ask.

Every conversation is saved for you, with a list of the questions it couldn't answer, so you know what to add.

How we build yours.

  1. Explain.

Tell us what visitors ask before they book and how you answer them today, by voice or text.

  2. Map.

We map where your answers live, the questions you ask every lead, your booking rules and where leads should land.

  3. Design.

We design the opening line with its AI label, the information it answers from, your qualifying questions and who gets each handoff.

  4. Build.

Approve the design, and we build it on a site we make for you or on your current site where your plan allows it, connected to your calendar, job software or CRM where they allow it.

Questions.

Doesn't my website builder or chat app already do this?

Often, yes. Some website builders and many help desk and chat apps now include an AI chat that answers from your own help content, and some can book meetings. If yours fits how you work, your solution design says to turn it on, and we build nothing or only the booking or CRM connection it's missing. We build when answers must follow the information you approve, your own qualifying questions and your booking rules, and when the lead has to land in the calendar, job software or CRM you already use.

Will visitors know they're talking to AI?

Yes. Every chat opens by saying it's your business's AI assistant and how to reach a person, and the header keeps saying it next to a Talk to a person button. Utah requires a business to say it's using AI when someone clearly asks, and California bars a bot from hiding that it's a bot to make a sale. We show the label in every chat, wherever your visitors are.

What happens when it can't answer?

It's built to answer only from passages in the information you approve and to keep a note of the one it used. When there's no source, it's told to say so and offer a person rather than guess. It's set up to send those questions to the right person on your team as an alert with a summary, along with refunds, discounts, prices that aren't on your price list, upset visitors and anyone who asks for a person. That person follows up by phone or email, and you see a list of the questions it couldn't answer so you know what to add.

Can it go on my current website?

Yes, where your platform and plan allow custom code, and we check your plan first. It goes in as one line of code. It can also be part of a website we build for you.

What do I need to have?

Admin access to your website, or a new site from us, plus the pages, price lists, policies and documents it may answer from. Your qualifying questions, what makes a lead worth booking, the topics it must always pass to a person and who gets each handoff. Access to your calendar or job software and your CRM, or we set up a simple list if you don't have a CRM. Your OK on the opening line and the AI label, and a privacy policy on your site that covers the chat.

Where is my data kept?

Your information is kept in a database set up only for your business, never shared with another client's.

What does a website chat assistant cost?

The price depends on what we build, and your solution design includes a fixed price for the build. Nothing starts until you decide to go ahead, and the process analysis and the solution design are free. Running costs such as AI usage, hosting and the alert and confirmation emails are covered by a monthly plan sized to your business and expected usage. Optional support is separate, and your solution design lays out both before you decide.
